-miscellaneous research notes

-letter from Hans Tietze, dated 23 Jun 1937, concerning a work by Leandro Basseno (1557-1622)

-letter from [illegible], dated 2 Dec 1937, concerning the house, L'hôtel d'Escoville [in French]

-two letters from Robert Witt, dated 14 & 22 Apr 1949, concerning a request for Oppé to write a catalogue introduction for a British Council exhibition of works from Witt's collection in Canada
