Note in War Diary of 95 Coy 25/9/1917 - Recommendations for New Years Honours called for, and the following put forward - Lt Anthony Percival - "For his gallant conduct when in charge of two guns in the front line, west of la Coulotte on 23 April 1917. Although his position was subjected to persistant heavy shelling, he was responsible for inflicting a number of casualties on the enemy by his skill and courage in handling his guns" Recommended to be Mentioned in Despatches.
