Description:

1. Construction of a railway from Spalding to Lincoln, revision of original scheme.

- Consisting of:-

(a) A line from Donington to Old Sleaford to form a junction with the Midland Counties Railway, (Boston and Sleaford line).

(b) Line leaving (a) in the parish of New Sleaford and following the original line of the scheme from Dorrington to Potter Hanworth.

(c) Branch from Sleaford to Boston line (Midland Counties Railway) to join the Spalding to Lincoln line.

(d) Continuing from the original line of the scheme in Potter Hanworth, passing through Lincoln and terminating in the parish of Skellingthorpe.

(e) Leaving the main line in the parish of Canwick and travelling North-East to form a siding by the River Witham.

(f) Leaving the main line in the parish of Canwick and travelling North-West to join lines into Lincoln Station.

(g) Not included.(h) Leaving main line in the parish of Boultham and terminating with a junction with the Great

- Northern Railway (loop line).

2. Construction of a line to form a junction between the St. Ives to March line and the St. Ives to Cambridge line. The line to be constructed to the East of St. Ives town.

3. Purchase of additional land at March.

1(a). Donington, Helpringham, Burton Pedwardine, Kirkby Laythorpe, Old Sleaford, (all co. Lincolnshire).

(b). Kirkby Laythorpe, Evedon, New Sleaford, Leasingham, Ruskington, Donington, (all co. Lincolshire).

(c). Parish of New Sleaford. (co. Lincolshire).

(d). Potter Hanworth, Branston, Washingborough, Canwick, parishes of South Common, St. Peter at Gowts, and St. Botolph. (Lincoln); Boultham, Skellingthorpe (all co. Lincolshire).

(e). Canwick and Greetwell (both co. Lincolshire).

(f). Canwick and South Common (both co. Lincolshire).

(h). Boultham (co. Lincolshire).

2. St. Ives and Holywell-cum-Needingworth (both co. Huntingdonshire).

3. March in the parish of Doddington (co. Cambridgeshire).

Comprising:

Plans and sections. 22 sheets, each 22 x 30; 2 sheets, each 22 x 40.

- 2 Ordnance survey sheets, scale 1 inch to 1 mile.

Scale:

1. Plans and sections: Horizontal- 6 chains (132 yards) to 1 inch; Vertical- 60 feet to 1 inch.

- Cross sections: Horizontal- 5 chains to 1 inch. (110 yards); Vertical- 40 feet to 1 inch.

2 & 3. Plans and sections: Horizontal- 4 chains (88 yards) to 1 inch; Vertical- 40 feet to 1 inch.

- Cross sections: Vertical- 40 feet to 1 inch.

Enlarged plans: 3 chains (66 yards) to 1 inch.
