They were deposited in the North Devon Record Office on 23 March 1988 by the Librarian, North Devon Athenaeum.

Administrative / biographical background

The five volumes include Civil War documents for Exeter and monumental inscriptions and parish register extracts made by Benjamin Incledon (1730-1796), a Barnstaple genealogist and Recorder of Barnstaple from 1758-1796.
