(2) John Fordyce to William Ramsay (Secretary to East India Company) 1st April 1805, agreeing on part of the Creditors to the appointment of Richard Ryder, Benjamin Hobhouse and Thomas Cockburn as Commissioners in England for the liquidation of the debts of the Nawabs of Arcot; p. 169, 10th March 1806, agreeing to appointment of Francis Horner in place of Ryder, resigned.
