Collection of six inches to mile ordnance survey maps used for marking boundaries of Church of England parishes in England. ; The boundaries shown are the ancient parish boundaries and boundaries of parishes created from the first half of the 19th century until 1960s. The new parishes started to be created after the reform of the Church administration of the 1830s.; Maps arranged into series by county.; The capital letters followed by numbers and dates, often inscribed on the maps are the numbers of the more recent 1:10,000 OS sheets, and the date is the date when the boundary information was copied from the old 6" OS maps to the new 1:10,000 set of maps. The maps were all subsequently digitised in 2000.
