Description

Messuage belonging to St. Mary's Hospital, Chichester, converted to three separate tenements or dwelling houses by George Gatehouse, the lessee, between 1798 - 1808. Each property has a third share in a pump

Property

I. Tenement at the W. end of the three, with a yard, passage way and garden lying behind the three tenements. All the above premises lye in St. Pancras outside the Eastgate of Chichester, having the other two tenements partly on the E and partly on the N, the King's Highway partly on the N, a tenement formerly occ. by John Roill on the W and the Lavant course on the S. Containing from E - W, twelve feet, nine inches and from N - S fifty one feet. The garden contains from E - W thirty four feet and from N - S eighty three feet

II. Tenement with yard and washhouse lying in St. Pancras outside the Eastgate of Chichester, having the same N and S abuttals as I, with a tenement on the E occ. by John Criskin and property III on the W

III. Tenement with yard and washhouse lying in St. Pancras outside the Eastgate of Chichester, having the same N and S abuttals as I, with property II on the E and property I on the W
