Survey papers for each smallholdings district beginning with a table of contents (i.e. alphabetical list of schemes annotated with details of ownership) and then consisting of a plan of each scheme individually with accompanying survey sheet recording details of road sections (if any) relating to the scheme and giving the following information: soil and type of holding; length in feet of particular section of road; classification/construction of road; importance and suggested improvements to road; and general remarks.
Several scheme surveys include road maintenance schedule forms (recording costs of labour and materials) up to 1964/5 at latest; these forms were removed and destroyed if they had not been used.
