Description

Hand-coloured collodion positive portrait in case measuring 98x85mm. Image framed with oval brass matt. Label pasted to back of case reads 'Henry Lock Photographic Artist No 209 Shoreditch, opposite the station. Papper [sic] cloth & stereoscopic portraits taken'. Henry Locke (spelled thus in directories) is listed at this address only for the year 1861.
