Description

Diary, 1 Jan. - 4 Feb. 1830, [of Robt. chadwick] of Eagley, about running the Mills; begins "This day I was engaged taking stock at Eagley in consequence of the death of my dear Brother James [died 22 Dec. 1829] - Jos. Atkinson and James Walker assisted me. Refers to discussions with Chas. Brook and Philips and Lee about Brook's patent for spinning 12 January, and discussions with Geo. and Mark Philips about his connection with them, 12 and 20 Jan. 1830.

Notes on young men applying for jobs, Mar. 1843 - Nov. 1850.
