These contain details of the parts required for the construction of orders and include the quantity required, a description, the purpose for which the part was required, date ordered and from whom ordered. There is sometimes more than one volume per order. The original volume numbers have been retained. In cases where one binder contains several "volume" the order number should be the lowest volume number, e.g. D4791/20/373 or 20/445. Only a few books have survived for the period prior to 1950 (no. 532A) and even after that occasional items are missing from the series.
