PARTIES: 1. Mary Jane Youde of Upton Priory in the County of Oxford, spinster.
2. John Giles Brooks of Signett, near Burfordqin the said County, Farmer.
SUBJECT OF TRANSACTION: Farmhouse messuage or dwelling house with the barns stables cattle shed and other buildings belonging and the several fields etc. containing 116a.3r.26p. in the hamlet of Signett (described in the schedule as The Bottom 6a.2r.25p., Downs Ground 4a.2r.2p., Lanes Ground 11a.2r.10p., Little Ground 4a.3r.24p., Close 1a.1r.39p., House, buildings, yard etc. 1a.2r.25p., Orchard 1r.30p., The Meadow 6a.1r.33p., Sidelands 3a.3r.34p., Sturt Grounds 25a.2r.8p., The Ten Acres 10a.2r.24p., Burford Road Ground 18a.1p. and Poors Lot Ground 11a.11p.) except timber and also reserving to 1. the right to lead water through the premises, to erect buildings and also except hurting, shooting, fishing and fowling.
1. leases the premises to 2. for the term of 10 yrs. from 29. Sept. last @ £180 p.a. plus £50 for every acre ploughed.
CONSIDERATION: rent £180 p.a.
