The Lodge of Fidelity No. 269 was named and established in 1788. In 1788 it met at the Thorn Inn, St. James' Street, Burnley, Lancashire. In 1837 the lodge moved from Burnley to the Britannia Inn, Lord Street, Blackburn, Lancashire. The lodge now meets at the Masonic Hall, Richmond Terrace, Blackburn.
