Letter from Edward Willoby, Clerk to the Guardians of the Berwick-upon-Tweed Poor Law Union, to Alexander Davidson informing him that the guardians have accepted his resignation as collector of rates and assistant overseer for Ancroft, Kyloe, Norham and Norham Mains. He is asked to hand over to the overseers any books, papers and monies, while retaining his bonds until next audit.
