1. LOWER PEOVER Robert Cholmondeley c Godfrey Shackerley concerning title to a pew and burial rights in chancel. East window had Cholmondeley, Holford and Leicester arms (described in great detail) but removed in Civil War - interrogations, depositions, commission.

2. WRENBURY Robert Taylor c John Barrow concerning his title to a seat by right of his house brought from Sir Richard Wilbraham - confession (1685-1).

3. WRENBURY James Starkey of Eagle Hall c Margaret Beckett for slander - sentence.

4. NESTON James Pool c Thomas Mostyn, Philip Egerton, Thomas Potter and others concerning title to a pew - details of pews, depositions.

5. SEFTON Sir Wm Blundell c Churchwardens for demanding rates to build a road to Lord Molyneux's mills - depositions, sentence, appeal (1684-12).

6. AUDLEM Churchwardens c Leonard Gamull for arrears of assessments. Poor rate and church lay at 12/6 in £. Says he paid 6/3d to Rural Dean - libel, depositions, sentence, libel.
