The 1933 Milk Marketing Scheme was subsequently amended in 1936, 1937 (twice), 1939, 1950, 1955, 1969, 1977, 1979, 1981 (twice), 1984, 1986, 1987, 1988 and 1992. For example the 1950 Order introduced ministerial appointees to the board, and the 1955 Order a Joint Committee for Consultation with Purchasers' Representatives.
