Folios 318-319. Letter from the Reverend James Wilkinson, Sheffield magistrate, reporting that Widdison's examination had shown him to be a member of the Society for Constitutional Information, and that he had made several pikes but had refused to say how he had disposed of them. Henry Hill had one pike, which he said was his own, but there were reasons to believe he had been involved in forging the heads for the spears. Wilkinson seeks immediate instructions on how to dispose of Widdison and Hill as there is nowhere to hold them except at the barracks.
