Folios 310-311. Letter from Robert Beatty of King's Head Court, Holborn, passing on the information that the person who rented a furnished floor of Mr Hoddinott's house, 45 Gee Street, Clerkenwell, from 28 April to 12 May was likely to have been [Archibald] Hamilton Rowan, the object of a Royal Proclamation [PRO 61/35] following his escape from prison in Dublin. The person had vacated the lodgings in haste after reading the newspaper, taking a coach but leaving behind certain belongings that may help to establish his identity.
