Folios 304-305. Letter from John Woodhead, sentenced at the Old Bailey to be transported for 7 years for robbing Mr Darby of some remnants of cotton and cloth. Woodhead refers to his earlier petition, which contains the details of his defence, and pleads for a royal pardon on condition of transporting himself, out of compassion for his wife and 5 infants.
