Description

Folios 281-282. Letter from Robert Dawson referring to an earlier petition to the Home Secretary for his expenses in apprehending Lawrence Friend for the murder of his wife, following him from Boulogne to Ostend and apprehending him again, leading to Friend's subsequent trial and conviction there. Dawson understands that others who went to Ostend for the trial have already been paid.
