This series contains policy and case files (otherwise in HLG 140) of the Land Use Division of the Ministry of Land and Natural Resources relating to allotments. Estimates of the demand for allotments and transfer of function from the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food are also covered.
The KA series was raised by the Land Use Division in 1965. No further files were raised using the prefix after the dissolution of the Ministry of Land and Natural Resources in 1967, although the Countryside Division of the Ministry of Housing and Local Government continued to use and add papers to those files already in existence.
