Despatches from Samuel Herbert Wilson, Governor of Trinidad, dated November to December 1923, together will correspondence from various Government departments sent during the year. Despatches are described at item level; other correspondence is not and correspondents and subjects are as follows:
- Crown Agents (Government Railway report, Trinidad Oilfields Limited, Workmen’s Compensation Ordinance, detention of J Brackenridge, salaries of officers on leave, wireless stations, death of J M Powell);
- Foreign Office (French oil tariff, oil bearing sands, oilfields water inspection, customs duties on mineral oils, Venezuelan revolutionaries, claim of C F H Reiner);
- India Office (Captain M E Coombs, Indian service of C S Rogers);
- Board of Trade (oil sands, General Petroleum Company, oil industry revenue, explosives in oil production, oil mining lease, Pitch Lake concession);
