Description

Letters sent from offices (government departments and other organizations) and individuals on matters related to Trinidad and Tobago. Correspondents and subjects are as follows:

Offices:

  • Admiralty (contract for oil fuel with Trinidad Leasehold Ltd);
  • Crown Agents (R E J Paul's salary and advance, pipeline agreement with Trinidad Petroleum Development Co Ltd, Caroni reclamation scheme, harbour improvements at Port of Spain, British Controlled Oilfields Ltd's proposed wireless telephone service between Trinidad and Venezuela, cancellation of Trinidad United Oilfields Ltd's lease, R E J Paul's departure, E Blackwood Wright's pension, statement showing new issues of postage and revenue stamps made in the West Indies since 1918, recommends R G M Fell as inspector of ways and works for the government railway, J W Spiller's report on the government railways, polariscope and accessories for the Agriculture Department);
