Description

Letters from the War Office, miscellaneous offices (departments), other organisations and individuals most of which relate to the despatches sent from the governor in CO 295/511 - CO 295/513. Correspondents and subjects covered are as follows:

  • War Office (reports on suspected Indian 'seditionists' , naval dispositions in the West Indies, Quarter Master Sergeant H Casey, sergeant instructor of local forces, court martial of Second Lieutenant L Abrams, return of L Abrams to the colony, recovery of sums due from Second Lieutenant M E Coombs, Huttlinger & Struller);
