Description

Correspondence from the Admiralty and the Crown Agents on matters relating to Trinidad. Correspondents and subjects are as follows:

  • Admiralty (oil fuel, United British West Indies Petroleum Syndicate, Chairman of Trinidad Leases Limited, Trinidad United Oilfields Limited, land regulations, claim of sovereignty over Soldier's Rock by the Venezuelan Government, model oil prospecting licence and mining lease, draining of Oropouche Lagoon, facilities for shipping oil);
  • Crown Agents (Port-of-Spain harbour improvement, agreement with the United British West Indies Petroleum Syndicate, removal of Port of Spain station, lease to the Central Mining and Investment Corporation Limited, pension of former District Medical Officer of Cedros Dr P E H Giuseppi, oil prospecting licence for Messrs S Pearson and Son, stamps complaint by Mr Forbin, workmen's compensation, petrol lighting, Trinidad United Oilfields Limited, draining of Oropouche Lagoon, Chairmanship of the Trinidad Leases Limited, draft agreement as to pipelines, Royal Bank of Canada Security for note issue, oil prospecting licence to Mr T S Marshall, uniforms for Sub-Inspectors of Police, oil prospecting by Messrs S Pearson and Son, licenses held by Russper and British West Indies Syndicate, model of oil lease).
