Description

Letters from various individuals most of which relate to the despatches sent from the governor in CO 295/343 - CO 295/348. Correspondents and subjects covered are as follows:

  • John Bartlett (claim against estate of the late Sir J Gorrie);
  • Rev J Browne (his pension);
  • H Clarence Bourne (appointment as registrar general and examiner of titles);
  • A S Bowen, Warden (reduction of his salary);
  • Sir F Napier Broome (full salary of acting appointments, collection of land and house tax, reform of the constitution, appointment of aide de camp, prisons accommodation, gratuity to W Fahey, memorial of clerical staff of Public Works Department);
