Description
Documents submitted to the Committee of Enquiry on Restitution, vol 2. <p>Large collection of translated legal documents sent to Judge O'Sullivan by Manfred Guggenheim, clerk of the Court of Deconcentration [responsible for breaking up major German conglomerates], dated 21 November 1951. The documents relate to the illegitimate acquisition of property [real estate, equipment and stock] during the war by the Allgemeine Elektrizitaets-Gesellschaft [AEG] and the Robert Bosch Aktiengesellschaft. No reference to cultural property.</p>
