Letters received from various government offices (departments), and other organisations relating to Jamaica. Correspondents and subjects are as follows:

  • Admiralty (supplies to political refugees, suspension of C A Bland, application of R W B Hunt to retain appointment as Inspector of Volunteers, passage of J Gibbs and C Jackson, passage of employees of the Colonial Office, trial and execution of G W Gordon, application of Captain Hunt to be Private Secretary and Aide de Camp to the Lieutenant Governor of Honduras, double payment of passage of Mr Ker and family, law to prevent contagious diseases, anticipation of further rebellion in Jamaica and measures taken, Jamaican estates of Greenwich Hospital);
