Offices and Individuals. Letters received from various government offices (departments), other organisations and individuals relating to Barbados. Correspondents and subjects are as follows:

Offices:

  • Admiralty (passage of C Darling and family, Naval Property Act, passage of C Darling, expenses of the Naval Department, Act concerning the government of Kingston Hospital, passage of Reverend W Hytton and wife, prosecution of Jacob Alvarenga for stealing government stores, Principal Medical Officer at the Naval Hospital acting on the Board of Visitors at the Kingston Public Hospital, passage of T Allen and wife, passage of Reverend W S Serres and family, passage of J Frishmey and A E Brown, passage of A Lennox, E H Monkton's application for a lease of guano deposits, charges against Jacob Alvarenga);
