Description

Offices and Individuals. Letters received from various Government offices (departments), other organisations and individuals relating to Jamaica. Correspondents and subjects are as follows:

Offices:

  • Admiralty (passage of C E B Gardiner and his nephew, Mr Lucas Barrett, Mrs Barrett, cost of passage of certain passengers, Act to improve Royal Naval Hospital at Port Royal, passage of the Bishop of Kingston and a servant, Jamaica Slip Dock Company, dismissal of Mr Duff Registrar, disturbances at Falmouth, passage of Reverend John Davidson, passage of W Heslop Attorney General of Jamaica with his wife and a servant, passage of the wife of John Davidson, passage of S Darling, charge of £46 0s 5d for Land Tax Redemption, legality of the appointment of H M Hall, appointment of E Bancroft Lynch to be Registrar of the Vice Admiralty Court of Jamaica, appointment of H M Hall to be Marshal of the Vice Admiralty court of Jamaica, passage of H Walsh Stipendiary Magistrate and his wife);
