1711 June 13
Officers of Ordnance to Marlborough on Captain Moody's proposal for a fort at Ferryland, Newfoundland. In their opinion the fort would cost twice as much as proposed and take twice the time. A fort at St John's might be more advantageous. They request to know the size of the garrison proposed. Dated at Office of Ordnance.
