Description

  • Officers of Ordnance to Hedges: Captain Lloyd proposes sending gunners etc. and their stores to Newfoundland. The officers propose sending 100 barrels of powder with shot. They have discussed means of transporting the stores with Mr. Merritt. Dated at Office of Ordnance.

  • 'The pay a day for a Carpenter, an Armourer, a Smith and four Gunners for the Service in Newfoundland.'
