Report of F J Hartwell, S Gambier and H Peake, [Francis John Hartwell, Samuel Gambier and Henry Peake], Commissioners of the Board of the Navy Office, on behalf of Walter Lemon, convicted (with William Nichols) at the Exeter Lent Assizes, Devon, 1806 for the theft of a rudder plate from Plymouth Dockyard. Initial sentence: death, commuted to 7 years transportation. Recommendation: no further mercy. Folios 309-310.
