Folios 309A-310B. Memorandum to Evan Nepean, Under-Secretary, Home Office, from Patrick Colquhoun, magistrate of the Public Office, Worship Street, Shoreditch, enclosing a witness statement about a man arrested for uttering seditious words, imprisoned and released on bail. Enclosed is the information of Arthur Short of Craven Street, City Road, sworn before Colquhoun on 11 June that on the previous evening at the Queen's Head, Pitfield Street, Hoxton, a merchant's clerk named Henry Hastings had made a number of seditious expressions.
