Folio 288. Copy of a statement in French by the Baron de Suzannet concerning the Comte de Rice [Count Rice], formerly Thompson, whose title rests on a document obtained from the Holy Roman Empire. De Suzannet catalogues Rice's disreputable gambling activities in Spa, Liege and Aix-la-Chapelle and concludes that he is an adventurer who is a danger wherever he goes.
