Folios 278A-278B. The information of William Morley, merchant of Drury Lane, London, taken and sworn before William Wickham, magistrate, that Christopher Warne has absconded from Morley's service, taking with him a considerable sum of money, and may now be at Newport Pond, Essex. Also that there is, in the General Post Office, a letter from John Wesley Burk [Bourke], a clerk of Morley's, to Warne, from which important information may be obtained.
