This series consists of a 2% random sample of Chancery files from the Companies Court of the High Court of Justice. They include proceedings in applications for confirmation of reduction of capital, sanctions of schemes of arrangement, and rectification of register charges. There are also cases concerning failure to render returns etc. under the Companies Acts and some papers in winding-up actions which were later withdrawn, deferred or voided. Most of the files date from 1952.
