David ap Grono requests that he is released of the arrears of a sum that her was assigned to collect by Montague, and also of the arrears of certain mills that he took of the lease of Turberville, as he has nothing by which to make payment. David ap Grono was imprisoned by Bren because of his loyalty to the king for which all his goods were destroyed and part of his granges. He escaped and helped bring Senghennydd to peace, and has been put to great cost as bailiff of Senghennydd in taking robbers etc.
