Note (Additional information about the record)
- The petition is dated to c. 1402 as it seems likely to date closely to a grant of a manor on the Isle of Wight to augment his maintenance made on 16th February 1402 (CPR 1399-1401, p. 42). The petition has to be before April 1403 when the petitioner appears to have been styled as earl of Salisbury, though he was not then of age (CPR 1399-1401, p. 217)
