Nature of request
Thwenge and Holtyng show that in the 41st year of Edward III, one Alexander Plante was indicted for diverse felonies, and when he was informed that he was indicted he gave all his things to the parson of Bulmer, namely in a coffer which contained gold, and other things necessary to Plante to the value of £20. The petitioners are prepared to make clear and pursue these things for the king, as they ought to have fallen to the king by forfeiture.
