Nature of request
Moigne states that the kings of Spain, Aragon and Portugal requested that the king's father that he grant to him for his service in the wars of Scotland and Ireland and ordain some honourable reward. He requests that he grant to him for his life, one part of the sergeanty of Norfolk and Suffolk which Ralph de Gouthorp held at the will of the king.
