Nature of request
Vescy requests that the justices in her plea of dower be commanded to make and ordain on this at this parliament as the common law of the land ordains, so that she is not delayed from her dower. She sued against Clemence Vescy, widow of her husband's son by writ of dower but she vouched to warranty William de Vescy of Kildare, and the judges have subsequently delayed the judgment to her damage.
