Braye complains that he had 2 parts of a tinwork in a ground called 'Hocheby' for 4 years but was wrongfully ousted by Gregge who has kept it for 2 years and dug out 20 feet of tin valued at 12 marks 6s. 8d.; also he entered a close of the petitioner and cut down trees there, and beat the petitioner's wife when she asked why he did it, and then carried the trees away; and Gregge withholds various goods and chattels of the petitioner [detailed] to the utter undoing of the petitioner, and has done many other wrongs. Braye requests that the premises be considered, and Gregge be called before the chancellor and commissioners to answer the premises, and set such direction as is considered reasonable.
