Nature of request
Motyn shows that Vincent, not being an officer, counterfeited a warrant under the sheriff's seal, and with the same wrongfully arrested the petitioner, and took him to Launceston gaol and imprisoned him there for two days and nights. He requests that Vincent be sent to come before the commissioners, and answer to the premises, or command the keeper of the gaol to keep Vincent safe until the commissioners come to those parts.
