- Stoneton complains that after her husband's death she was endowed with a third part of a certain messuage with appurtenances called Stoneton in the parish of St Clere for an annuity of 6s. 8d. for her dower to be levied, but Marke, pretending a wrongful title to the same messuage, has taken her dower away for the past 6 years contrary to the law. She only survives by the support of well-disposed people, and she requests that she can have the annuity during her life with the arrears that Marke has retained.
