Nature of request
Moore shows that the chancellor commanded him to be with the chancellor at Saltash on 5 October, but before the coming of the letters Moore was arrested and imprisoned at Cuddenbeak without warrant or other lawfull cause save only the commandment of Tredewy. Tredewy has divers times imprisoned him without warrant to the intent to make the supplicant give his land to such persons as Tredewy would wish, and Moore supposes that he is arrested this time so that Moore cannot show the chancellor divers bills of complaint. Moore requests that the premises be considered and have due reformation of the same so that he may be at large to come to the chancellor according to his command.
