- [The petition is barely legible throughout, and the full details are very difficult to recover].Bolt requests that the book of reckoning recording the debt owed to him for harness that he supplied a various occasions at the king's command in London and Calais, and which he delivered to Blewbery be seen by such as would please the king, and thereupon that he may be paid of the £163 14s. 4d. according to right and conscience, since he is greatly impoverished because he has not been paid. He also requests that the king will take the harnesses from him that lie by him [...].
