Nature of request
Slanne shows that he was seised for a long time with Speke of a tinwork called Nethershute taken for 12 years, and at about the feast of St Augustine last, he was ousted by Waynell and May who would never have entered without the labour of Speke, who shares the petitioner's part with them. They continue to occupy the same and have taken some of the petitioners black tin. Slanne dare not sue this because of the maintenance of Fulford to his great damage and undoing, Fulford taking the profits for the same for his maintenance. Slanne requests a remedy be ordained so that he may be restored.
