[The document that formerly bore this reference number was found to be the right-hand half of C 81/1478/43 and was transferred to be reattached to the left-hand portion found there on 24 August 1935].Bowdon requests the annual pension that the next abbot of Athelney will be obliged to give to one of your clerks at the king's nomination when the abbot is newly created, the pension not exceeding 40s a year.
