[The petition is badly damaged and portions of the right-hand half of the petition are missing or illegible].Novel states that he had hides of oxen on a ship of Ferede and that while it was coming to Paris it was taken by the Goldwins and other of Hastings. The petitioner has requested the restoration of the goods or their value, but has not had anything. He requests remedy as he does not wish to pursue his right in France.
